Tom Campbell and Beth Davidow Visit

Two legends of the marine cinematography world came to Mangonui School to share their experiences of capturing ocean life on camera. They spoke with passion about how we must look after Doubtless Bay so it does not become polluted and sick like many other areas in the world. They spoke about the Pacific Vortex which is where big sea currents meet and how there is a rubbish dump of plastic as big as Mexico. The students learnt heaps and especially enjoyed learning about how Tom swims with huge sharks and does not get bitten! Thanks Tom and Beth, true legends who we were extremely lucky to have at our kura.
